An Onyx Male
Shoe is a male Black Whelp who is the pet of Rydan Krey. The creature got its name after it would constantly attempt to curl up in the lap of Rydan seeking warmth. The young man of the House of Krey would yell 'SHOO' trying to get rid of the whelpling but oddly enough the animal eventually began to connect the sound of the word 'shoo' and Rydan's boot.
So when Rydan would hell for him to get off his lap, the whelpling would fly off and fetch his boot (shoe) for him. The cleverness of the Black caught the young man's attention and he grew fond of him.
