Neshur's Tower

Nashur's Tower in Koraj.

Neshur's Tower was one of the first residental towers to be constructed in the city of Kingsport.  Built by the Merchant, Neshur, it's located off of a side row in the north west of the city within view of the Marny River. 

The tower is made of granite and was covered with white limestone when it was created making it an impressive structure. However, over the years, the limestone has darkened with buildings that have caught fire near by and weathering leaving it to be a steel grey.

The top of Neshur's tower can be seen from Havryn's window at The Black Cat.

Details

The basement of Neshur's Tower is on ground level and there is a stairway that rises up to the first floor above for people to gain entry. A trapdoor in the floor of the pantry (26) connects with the original cellar of the original tower. The cellar level, designed the same way as the basement level,has a locked, iron gate that leads into the sewers of Kingsport. 

The roof is actually more of an observatory or covered balcony so that the members of the family can look out upon the city of Kingsport.  The the observatory is supported by a number of pillars along the southern edge. Access to this level is made through the stairwell located next to room (28).
