The Low-Landers of the Kessian Highlands tend to favor life within the dense forests that border their lands on the eastern slopes.
As such, many Low-Landers will build their homes either next to or around the large trees that grow there. A common practice is to construct platforms up along the trunk with a stone building at the base for cooking. The higher platforms give them added protection and security from the many beasts that hunt within the lowlands.
