The House of Mercer is the banner to Norello which replaced the House of Torren as Lords of Middlebrook and March Lord of the March of Halloway .
Rumor has it that the Lord of the House of Mercer bought the title from the only heir to the House of Torren, Tyrus Torren - or rather bought his silence so that they could claim the village and the honors.
The House of Mercer once lived in the town of Kingsbridge, a Knight's House which ever-saught to increase its wealth and prosperity.
