Mage hand is an introductory (level 0) or low complexity spell, learned by all wizards. When a wizard uses mage hand he or she conjures a magical, invisible hand within twenty-five feet, which they can use to interact with objects weighing ten pounds or less.
The hand has the equivalent maximum speed of a thrown and can easily drop items or, given a moment, pick up new ones. With a little bit of effort, a wizard can keep the hand conjured indefinitely, though if he or she stops attempting to do so it will dissipate within a moment of its being cast. Mage hand' can be recast at any time however.

Mage Hand is one of those spells that has various degrees of usage depending on how much arcane energy is channeled into the spell.
Advanced Mage Hand[]
- See Level 1 Spell
The invisible hand can grasp object(s) within twenty-five feet, which they can use to interact with objects weighing twenty pounds or less. The hand has the equivalent maximum speed of a thrown and can easily drop items or, given a moment, pick up new ones.
The principle difference between this and the base form of the spell is the weight of the object grasped (up to 20 pounds), the number of objects grasped (up to 3 at the same time) and the speed at which they can be moved (as fast as a sling can throw a rock). .
Improved Mage Hand[]
- See Level 2 Spell
The principle difference between this and the base form of the spell is the weight of the object grasped (now up to 40 pounds), the number of objects grasped (up to 6 at the same time) and the speed at which they can be moved (as fast as an arrow can be shot).
Greater Mage Hand[]
- See Level 3 Spell
The principle difference between this and the base form of the spell is the weight of the object grasped (now up to 80 pounds), the number of objects grasped (up to 12 at the same time) and the speed at which they can be moved (as fast as an arrow can be shot) and that the direction can be shifted mid-flight.
Limited Telekinesis[]
- See Level 4 Spell
The principle difference between this and the base form of the spell is the weight of the object grasped (now up to 160 pounds), the number of objects grasped (up to 24 at the same time) and the speed at which they can be moved (limited flight) and that the direction can be shifted mid-flight.
